We believe that each member of God’s family has a unique and God-given role to fulfill in glorifying God. The Preschool Ministry strives to assist parents in teaching their children about their special place in God’s family by using basic biblical principles to teach and exemplify God’s Word. In this respect, each volunteer, staff member and teacher is a living testimony that God has graced His children with the ability to learn about His creation and His goodness.
The Preschool Ministry uses five basic truths for teaching during the preschool years:
God Made Everything! - God is the Creator.
God Made Me Just Right! - We are God’s children.
Jesus is My Friend! - Jesus is the Son of God and He loves us.
I can learn about the Lord Jesus in the Bible! - God’s Word is perfect.
I can tell people about Jesus! - God has commissioned us to witness to the world.
One of these five lessons is taught in an annual cycle during each Preschool Ministry event and repeated respectively during each Sunday School and Worship session. Through repetition and the use of numerous visual aids, this curriculum has proven to teach even the smallest of little ones.
"Instruct them to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, storing up for themselves the treasure of a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is life indeed." 1 Timothy 6:18
